Well another weekend is just about over and I'm ready to start another week. I was supposed to fly on Sat. morning but the clouds were too low so we didn't fly. We came back from the field at 1045 and then played pool until noon. I had a test at 8:00 in CAR and one at 11:30 in first aid. I got a hair cut in the afternoon and then played pool and ping pong all evening, We were supposed to fly today but it rained all morning and is quite cool. The temperature is about 40 degrees but I am enjoying it. It's the first cool weather I've seen in quite a few weeks. You probably won't believe this but it's a fact that I stayed in bed this morning until 1130. Boy it sure did seem swell to be able to sleep that long. I got up and went to chow at 1200 and then I went right to the show. I saw Pride of the Yankees and it was swell. After the show I came back for chow and then played pool until 1900. I'm taking four subjects including PT and with all morning spent in flying I sure don't have extra time. They always find something for us to do at night so we never get our studying done. We will leave here on the 22nd for sure but Lord knows where we'll go.

I got a letter from Em and Doris Sat. but I sure don't know where I'll get the time to answer them. Just to let you know how the Texans like cold weather, we've gone back to our O.D's. We put them on Sat. and today. It's starting to rain again. It sounds nice on the roof. I didn't go to church when I was home so why should I now? Besides, Sunday is the only day I can sleep. Well I guess that's about all the news for now so I will close.
