I already wrote one letter today but I forgot to write free on it so it will probably come back to me. I told you in one letter that Aunt Ruby sent the package to Sheppard Field and I believe you told me once that you sent her that address. I don't need any shoes and when the army gets around to it I'll be able to get a pair. I got two packages today, your candy and the peanut butter cookies. The cookies were in crumbs because the cap of the can was pushed in. I got two letters from you today and one from Doris, and Ray. We have a new schedule for this week so I have to get up at 5:45 now. I fly in the afternoon. I flew today and had my check flight. I got a different instructor for my check pilot and he yelled at me the whole flight. He didn't get me nervous but it was annoying. Afterwards my instructor said that he said I have him a good ride. Soooo, I guess I'm a H.P. (Hot Pilot). I've had six hours of flying so far and if the rest of this week is nice I'll get my ten hours in. Tomorrow we're going to have a general classification test. It's the one you take for O.C.S. Say, I guess Auntie is really becoming a farmer. How does Kenny like the animals? If my other letter comes back I'll mail it again as is so you'll know why it will be behind time.

Well, give my love to the family.

Love,
Rae

P.S Did Con send the cookies?
