I wrote yesterday but here I am again. We didn't do anything all day today but get our cadet issue and see a show and hear a lecture on the pressure chamber. We got our cadet issue all except for the blouse. They won't give it to me until we get ready to leave for pre-flgiht which will be Jun 20. We get moved Sat. to a pool squadron where we just wait with a bunch of other pilots until they have room for us. Tomorrow we go into the pressure chamber and they see how we act at high altitudes. They take us up to 36 thousand feet. Oh yes, never mind sending the white shorts for I got three pairs today in my issue. A also got a service cap, a garrison cap with air core braid, 8 cadet patches, two pairs of officers U.S. and propeller wings, a bath towel and two hankies, a pair of khakis and a large propeller wings for my service cap. Just as soon as we can wear the bars I'll get my picture taken. It sure is funny to watch the guys here in the barracks. Every once in a while they get up and put on their service hats. I got a new one - they're all officers' hats with cadet braid - blue - put over the officer braid. I can't wait until I get my blouse. Tonight I went to the show and saw Bombardier. It was kinda corny in spots but a civilian wouldn't notice it. I got a letter from Doris today but that was all. Well, I guess that's all I've got to tell - oh yes, I also get five pairs of sox so I won't need any of them either. Did you get my shoes yet?
Good night and god bless you --
Love,
Rae
