Well, here I am again but this is very important - can you get me the following information and have it here by the 20th or as near as possible?
My classification Board No. __
The date I was classified __
Classification Board No. : board No. 2, Dec 7, Av Cadet -3-

They are digging up my history before I get my bars. Say you can buy me any clothes you want, have Robin get them. It isn't necessary but I know every once in a while you have to buy or do something for me so there it is. Well, I'm not going to sign up for instructor. They get from three hours to two days off when they graduate. All I'll have to do would be to whisper B17 and I would land there. I think I'll take unassigned and just see where they would put me. I imagine it would be interesting just waiting in suspense and I certainly don't give a damn for heavy ships. I know damn well if I end up in a 4 engine ship I'll be a transport pilot when I come back. It would be too big a chance to pass up. Well, I had my first ride today in the AT17. It don't go any faster than 145 MPH and cruises at 130 MPH. Talk about instruments, that's all there are in the damn thing. Two engines so two of each instrument - retractable wheels - automatic flaps - steering wheel stick just like the movies. It flies on one engine and we have to keep stopping and starting one or the other while we're up. It sure is a mess of procedure. The only fun about it will be leaving the procedures. As far as the flying goes, you can't even do a steep turn. Well, that's enough for now. All my letters seem a bit PO'd but that's the way I feel.

Love,
Rae

P.S Here's something I got at Gardner.
