April 19 Monday

Last night we fell out at 10:30 and they gave us new schedules and read us a bunch of notices. It wasn't so bad for we got to bed at 11:30. Here is my new schedule: English, second period study, third period math, fourth period Geography, then comes lunch. First period study, second period History, fourth period drill and fifth period P.T. That schedule lets us off at 5:30 in the afternoon.

I got your box of cookies today and they were swell even though they were into pieces and the box was broke open. I got the letter telling about the car. Too bad you didn't give Uncle Art a good inner tube before you sold it. Kind of off the ball, weren't you, I expected that was the first thing you'd do when he first had the blow out. Tonight I went to a lecture by a vagabond poet and he told about Hawaii. It sure was interesting. Well, I guess I'm all well now. I'm going to get another shot in the next day or two. I'm also going to have a test in physical training. We are tested in chinning, running, and push ups, but I'll tell you more about that when it takes place. I got a letter from Ray and the school paper from Doris today. Well it's about time for lights out so I'll say goodnight.

Love, Rae
